01. Over Washing –
Yes, It is mandatory to wash your hair with shampoo and keep them clean and healthy.
It saves you from a lot of scalp diseases and infections.
So, there is nothing wrong with it but the slip is when you shampoo your hair more than the need.
When you shampoo your hair daily, it removes all the natural oil from your scalp and it causes dryness.
Due to dryness, your hair becomes weak and it leads to many problems like dandruff, lifelessness, itchy scalp, etc.
All these problems arise often by too frequent hair washing.
So if you want to keep your hair protected from such annoying and harmful issues, then keep the following things in your mind while washing hair –
(a) Shampoo your hair only two to three times a week.
(b) Always prefer a mild shampoo but if you have problems like itchiness or dandruff, then you can use a strong anti-dandruff shampoo once a week.
(c) Wash your hair with only water for the rest of the days.
(d) Do not use hot water to wash your hair.
02. Heat –
Heat harms the skin and hair equally.
When you blow-dry your hair, the heated air coming out of the dryer makes your hair lifeless and weak.
In this way your hair is weakened from its roots and starts falling, that’s why I recommend you please avoid using the blow dryer.
You should just towel-dry your hair gently but if you still want to use a blow dryer and want to keep your hair safeguarded at the same time.
So you should take the following precautions –

(a) Do not set your dryer on the full heat, always keep it on the lowest or medium heat setting.
(b) Make sure you keep the blow dryer at a safe distance from your hair otherwise it can be unhealthy for your hair.
(c) Before blow-drying your hair, apply a good quality heat protectant to your hair
So whenever you blow-dry your hair, please take care of these things.
In addition to the blow dryer, the other equipment that transmits very harsh heat to your hair is flat iron or hair straightener.
If you use a hair straightener just twice or thrice a month, then it’s ok but if you use more than this, then it can eradicate the naturality of your hair.
So please stay away from flat iron or hair straighteners but if you can’t then always prefer a heat protectant.
03. Cheap Hair Products –
Using cheap hair products is a huge and common hair care mistake.
Nowadays, there is a craze of hair styling products, especially among teenagers.
Most of the social media influencers influence teenagers in such a way that they think hair styling products are necessary.
Without those products, their hair can not look attractive but because of not having a decent budget, they move towards cheap and harmful hair products.
This arises many problems like gray-white hair, hair thinning, hair fall, etc and in the long term, these problems take a very terrible form.
Therefore, the first hair care tip is to avoid hair styling products as much as you can but if you can’t then buy good quality hair products.
The higher amount of alcohol in your hair styling products will be equally unhealthy to your hair, it can cause dryness, split ends, and hair breakage.
Keep yourself away from hair gels and hair sprays because they contain a large amount of alcohol and harmful chemicals.
Always use a soft textured and cream-based hair product like hair clay, pomade, hair cream, wax, etc.
When you put a styling product in your hair, do not let it be in your hair for a long time.
After coming back to your home, you should wash your hair with shampoo immediately.
Keep in mind, the hair product should not be in your hair, wash it out properly.
04. Being Violent –
Mostly we all do this hair care mistake while towel-drying and shampooing our hair.
It is one of the worst hair care mistakes because when hair is wet, they are in their weakest form.
In this condition, being remorseless and aggressive with them can cause hair fall and baldness in the long term.
Therefore, to keep your hair healthy and safe, you need to avoid this hair care mistake.
Always use your fingertips while washing your hair and massage gently in a circular motion.
You just have to make sure that your hair is properly washed and there is no space for strength and aggression.
Shampoo your hair unhurriedly and gently.
After this, when you go to drying your hair, use a soft towel to get rid of all the water.
Don’t rub the towel on your scalp, just pat-dry or tap-dry your hair with the towel.
It may take a little more time but it is about your hair care naturally.

05. Poor Conditioning –
To make your hair silky, shiny, and manageable, conditioning is very important.
Most of us only use shampoo and oil for our haircare and skip the conditioner but it is mandatory to use a good quality conditioner after shampooing your hair.
The conditioner is an oil-based creamy hair product, which moisturizes our hair.
After using shampoo, our hair gets dry, due to which the hair can have a lot of losses and serious damages.
Therefore, the conditioner should be used immediately after washing the hair.
It nourishes the hair deeply, which makes them shinier and healthier.
It is an important hair care tip and that is why never skip the conditioning.
Hair products are formulated just to provide that edge perfection to our hairstyle, it does not mean that can you use hair products every day.
It is very dangerous and toxic for your hair’s health.
So, keep yourself away from hair styling products as much as you can.
